What hosts and guests need to know.
Do guests need an app or an account?
No. Guests open the event from a QR code or link in their phone browser. They can add photos, play the hunt and leave a message without installing an app or signing up.
How do we collect everyone’s event photos?
Put the same event code on table cards, a sign, or an invitation. Every photo lands in one live album instead of separate texts and group chats.
What is the photo scavenger hunt?
Guests get a short list of moments to photograph. Hosts choose the hunt packs, edit any prompt and follow the progress on a live board.
Can guests leave video messages?
Yes. Guests can record a private fifteen-second message from the same event page. The host can watch and save the messages after the event.
Can we download the original photos?
Yes. Full-size downloads are included on every tier. The host can request everything in one server-built zip file.
How much does Get This Shot cost?
Free covers up to 10 guests for 90 days. Event is $49 for up to 150 guests, and Plus is $89 for up to 500 guests. A guest is a device, and paid plans admit a fifth over their number, so a 150 plan really seats 180. Paid albums are hosted for one year and can be extended for $19.
Which events can use it?
Get This Shot has hunts for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, nights out, mitzvahs, dinners, hangouts and other gatherings. Sports season support is coming soon.
Are event albums listed in search?
No. Event links, albums, guest pages and host tools are kept out of search. A host can also protect an album with a passcode.
